Well, I can't say I entirely agree with Steph when she classes 'lack' of hygiene as bad behaviour! But I do think it's gross and just lazy! It takes probably less than a minute to wash your hand properly to kill any bacteria on your hands that may have been passed on from your bum!
It is not just for the benefit of other people, like Steph says you never want to touch the door handle after someone who hasn't washed their hands. But it is also for your own basic hygiene. For example, if you wipe your bum and then bite your nails not only is this is a horrible thought you may also be passing bacteria around your body that may cause infections and viruses, all because you couldn't be arsed to whack a bit of soap and water on your hands!
Steph is right in saying that when there was a Swine Flu epidemic people did start to take their hygiene more seriously but since that they died off a little I'm sure that people have started to become more and more lazy and don't see the harm in not washing their hands after they've been to the toilet.
